Meet Alexis
Alexis Lewis-Cargill is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) with a passion for delivering exceptional care. A 33-year-old native of The Bahamas, Alexis’s journey into the field of lymphedema treatment began during her studies at Keiser University. During her first clinical experience at the Lymphedema Treatment Center, Alexis was captivated by the specialized and compassionate care provided to each patient. The unmatched quality of care left a lasting impression, inspiring her to request a return to the clinic to complete her clinical experiential training.
After passing her board examination and earning her certification, Alexis officially joined the Lymphedema Treatment Center family. Known for her selflessness and dedication to putting others first, Alexis has found her calling as a healthcare practitioner. Her natural ability to connect with patients and provide tailored care has allowed her to thrive in this role. Looking ahead, Alexis aspires to expand her expertise and services to further meet the needs of the community, continuing to help her patients achieve an improved quality of life.
In her personal time, Alexis enjoys meal prepping, exploring new hobbies, reading, volunteering, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her loving dog, Bear.
